Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for an opening in Archbald, PA.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Systems Engineer to support production and development efforts of Instrument and Control cabinets for commercial and defense applications. Candidate will address day to day production issues of electronic and mechanical equipment, including determining proper technical resolution and updating applicable technical documentation as required. Candidate will create basis of estimates for production and engineering development efforts. Must be able to work with and lead engineers of various disciplines, program managers and manufacturing personnel. Candidate should be a safety and process minded individual. Will support customer meetings. Overtime may be required.
Project leadership skills. Requirements managements skills using DOORs. Data analysis experience or classwork. Understanding of product lifecycle development.
MS in System Engineering or Electrical Engineering Earned value program management skills.Experience with Visio, electrical schematics, CREO, DOORs database, PSPice and programmable logic development. Subcontract management experience Customer and vendor relations experience Field product support experience
Accredited Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Candidates with a B.S. degree in a related discipline and systems engineering work experience may be considered.
