Chipton-Ross is seeking an Expeditor III for an opportunity in Aston, PA.
Analyze open orders, M3 ERP messages and update Purchase orders with current delivery information
Expedite Purchase orders to ensure materials are received on time when needed
Assist with solving receiving issues and returning non-conforming material to suppliers.
Run departmental reports and communicate necessary reporting to suppliers
Maintains MRP accuracy by ensuring transactions are processed fully and in a timely manner
Request pricing quotes, Call for bids (RFQ) and Create Purchase Orders
Collaborates effectively with Planning, Production, Quality, Warehouse and department staff as needed
Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking with accuracy
Ability to interact productively with suppliers
Must have the ability to be persistent in getting the material when it is needed and get suppliers to react to critical material shortage situations
Excellent communications skills: verbal, email and phone
Organization skills, time management skills and ability to prioritize are imperative
Knowledge of machined parts and hardware/fasteners is preferred
Experience with ERP or MRP system preferred
Experience with Microsoft products is required (Excel and Outlook)
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
