Chipton-Ross is seeking an Aircraft Electrician 2 for an opportunity in St. Augustine, FL.
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Aircraft Electrician 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Saint Augustine, FL.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of operations in regards to aircraft structural builds, including: Performs all duties required to lay out, fabricate, and install electrical wiring or coaxial cable on aircraft. Checks, tests, and troubleshoots electrical systems for conformance to specifications and performs repair, removal, and reinstallation of wiring as necessary. Cuts wire to length, strips insulation from wire ends, and insulates connections with plastic sleeves. Attaches wire or complicated electrical systems to fixtures and accessories such as transformers, instrument panels, and switchboards with fasteners such as bolts, screws, or solder. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of aircraft avionics experience.
Operational experience is preferred over manufacturing or production, but all candidates will be considered.
High School Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
Must be willing to work days (4/10), nights (4/10), or 3/12 weekend shifts as required by management. Please make sure candidate is aware of this.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
