Chipton-Ross is seeking a Junior Numerical Control Programmer for an opportunity in Linthicum, MD.
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Junior Numerical Control Programmer to join its team. This position is located in Linthicum, Maryland.
Program Numerical Control (CNC) Equipment through the use of computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programming tools.
Adjust to this function, the NC programmer is required to plan and design the tooling to preform associated NC operations.
Candidate will use Unigraphics (NX) software for all CNC work.
Candidate will use Horizontal and vertical machining centers, including a 5 axis for all machining equipment.
Certificate in CNC machine programing or Minimum two years college level study with an emphasis in Manufacturing/CNC.
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC Machining Operations and a minimum 3 years in the basic understanding of programing.
Must be able to use prior machining and programming experience to develop program, fixtures and processes under some supervision
Certificate in CNC machine programing or Minimum two years college level study with an emphasis in Manufacturing/CNC is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 workweek; 2nd shift
