Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Staff Design Structural Engineer 5 for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs structural products and components of products. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and technical applications such as CATIA, IDEAS, and ProEngineer. Develops layouts, sketches and blueprints. Investigates design factors such as damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Details related structural assemblies, mechanisms, and devices. Validates conformity to design standards and specifications. Identifies design errors and other deficiencies, and recommends changes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have 14 Years relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; OR 9 Years with PhD.

EDUCATION:
Bachelors in Science, Masters, or PhD is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
