Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Powder Blending Operator for an opening in Anaheim, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs routine procedures following written work instructions to complete manufacturing processes. Operates production equipment. Maintains documentation on manufacturing processes to comply with organization and regulatory standards. Maintains clean manufacturing areas, equipment, and materials.
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare, set up and tend machine that mixes dry ingredients to make blends and powder mixes.
• Pull and weigh out specified amounts of ingredients according to blend sheet instructions, and dumps ingredients into blending machine or stages product to be blended.
• Starts machine that mixes ingredients for specified length of time.
• Prepare packaging according to schedule or instructions.
o Pull proper number of containers.
o Print and place correct labels on containers and sample cups.
o Place proper amount of liners in containers.
• Collects sample of completed mix for laboratory analysis.
• May add ingredients and remix batch, according to laboratory recommendation.
• Listen for malfunction alarms, and shut down equipment and notify supervisors when necessary.
• Record production and data, such as processing steps, blending time, batches processed, etc.
• Fill and weigh product to specified weight; apply a tamper evident tie; seal container with tape and stack packaged product on pallet according to procedures utilizing a vacuum lift assist.
• Transfer packaged product to Finished Goods Warehouse and fill out transfer sheet according to procedures.
• Operator forklift as needed.
• Follow all Company Safety Policies.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Clean, wash, and sterilize equipment and blending/mixing area, using water hoses, cleaning or sterilizing solutions, or rinses.
o Clean and inspect screening magnets and conveyors.
• Maintain the facility clean and safe taking into account all SOPs, policies, procedures and regulations in all operations of the plant.
o Performs MSS (master sanitation) as per schedule/guidelines.
• Follow the Operations Objectives to reach the facility’s performance objectives and overall goals.
• Communicate with the maintenance department to anticipate or fix problems in a timely manner.
• Communicate with Supervisor, Team Leader and production operators as necessary.
• Rotate throughout all phases of Blending Department functions.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Follow the Operations Objectives to reach the facility’s performance objectives and overall goals.
• Communicate with the maintenance department to anticipate or fix problems in a timely manner.
• Communicate with Supervisor, Team Leader and production operators as necessary.
• Rotate throughout all phases of Blending Department functions.
• Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
1st Shift, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
