Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Testing Operator for an opening in Millersburg, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be involved in the testing of samples that impact the finished product that our customers will receive. This testing will help to confirm manufacturing processes that the production floor will use while producing our finished goods.

Follow written protocols to complete required testing, i.e. tensile testing, pressure testing and other techniques

Preparation of samples to be used for testing purposes
Serializing
Manipulation
Categorizing

Organizing tests and communicating their results
Data entry of results from the tests performed
Providing clear and concise test results to others for review
Help in the verification and validation of tooling by performing required testing.
Utilize pneumatic punch and presses
Other job tasks as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Ability to work 3rd shift and potential for overtime
Team work
Basic computer skills
Use of Microsoft programs
Communication skills
Work in manufacturing facility preferred
Work with mechanical properties testing preferred

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED, Technical degree (preferred)

WORK HOURS:
3rd Shift
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
