Chipton-Ross is seeking a Non-Destructive Test Technician 2 for an opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

We are currently seeking a Non-Destructive Test Technician 2 based in San Antonio. In this position, you will perform Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) on aircraft components. Task involves verification of structural integrity, without damage, of aircraft components. Inspections include metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including hardness testing, radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, and magnetic particle. Requires certifications in non-destructive testing. In this position you will perform NDI testing on F-18 aircraft and F-18 aircraft components.

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2 years of directly related work experience.
Must possess Strong Eddy Current and Ultrasonic NDI skill set.
Must be Level II certified IAW NAS 410 and BSS 7698.
Able to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc.
Able to effectively communicate, orally and written, with other employees, members of supervision, and others, as required in their duties.
Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
Must be Level II certified IAW NAS 410 and BSS 7698.
School must be accredited.

5/40 workweek.
