- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Ethics and Compliance Specialist for an opening in Huntsville, AL.
The Ethics and Compliance Specialist applies expertise to directly contribute to and administer all aspects of the company's Ethics & Compliance program. This position exercises considerable latitude in determining approaches to assignments and program content.
-To the extent experienced in internal investigations, conduct (or assist with) internal investigations on a wide range of issues based on reports to the Ethics department or hotline -Draft investigation reports and related documents -Assist with general case management: Case intake and assignment, check-ins with other investigators, manage case files, and assist with case closure in case management system
Conflicts of Interest Reviews: Outside Employment -Analyze requests for review of outside employment and flag potential conflicts of interest for discussion and disposition with the Director, Ethics & Compliance -Work with employees and managers to analyze and resolve potential conflicts of interest -Prepare approval memos to employees with approved outside employment -General case management of outside employment requests
Reporting to CEO Staff and Audit Committee of the Board -Assist with data analysis from Ethics Point hotline -Help prepare presentations (PPT) for a variety of audiences to share metrics, Ethics report information, and program updates
E&C Communications: assist with drafting communications and outreach to employees -Ethics Liaisons Program: Help prepare materials to train employees who volunteer; Ethics Liaisons; to serve as eyes/ears on the ground at over a dozen company locations.
-At least 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, Ethics, or as a Paralegal
-The ideal candidate would have experienced with internal, compliance-related or employee-relations investigations
-Independently manages projects and assignments
-Experience working in Aerospace & Defense is a plus -Advanced skills in MS Excel is a plus
Accredited Bachelors Degree
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
