Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opportunity in Littleton/Waterton, CO

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is available within the Integrated Intelligence (I2) team;. Here in I2, we are a highly collaborative workforce that designs and develops state-of-the-art software analytics and visualizations for current and next generation big data problems. We thrive on short development iterations and embrace a “fail-fast” mentality where every team member is expected to be innovative, fail fast, react quickly, and apply lessons learned to be successful the next time. Individual initiative and an ability to handle adversity are expected characteristics of all team members. We are an Agile team employing the Scrum framework to spec, design, code, test, automate, and deploy software development. The selected candidate is expected to be a creative problem solver and enthusiastic database developer. Candidate must be a self-starting, highly motivated, analytical, team player with leadership traits. Experience managing projects across multiple teams is a plus. This position will leverage and develop software experience in the following areas: Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c and Oracle 18c, Data Modelling and Warehouse Modeling and Linux.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
-Experience with Oracle versions 11g, 12c, 18c, or newer -Performance Tuning -Linux Administration experience -Shell Scripting -Oracle Patching, Upgrading and Installation -Requires a TS/SCI with CI poly.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Data Modeling -Data Warehouse Modeling (Star Schemas, Dimensional Modeling) -Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control -Oracle Migrations (GoldenGate) -Real Application Cluster (RAC) -Virtual Private Database (VPD)/Label Security -Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) -VMWare

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift, 9/80

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
