Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Warehouse Worker for an opening in Petaluma, CA.

SUMMARY:
Maintains warehouse cleanliness and organization. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITES:
Receive Production and completed work orders. Verify quantities against system. Maintain manifest and records. Determines method of shipment. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. May wrap cartons on wooden pallets with shrink wrap. Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto cartons and pallets. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operates lift truck or uses handtruck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. May receive in coming shipments and deliver them internally. Maintains a safe, clean working environment. May suggest and implement improvements in warehouse organization and flow. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
1 year experience related to shipping and receiving or manufacturing environment. Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Demands:
Light Work-Lifting of 50 pounds.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
