Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Maintenance General Worker for an opportunity in Mitchel Field, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs routine repairs and maintenance of plant and/or office facilities and equipment. Performs basic carpentry, electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, plumbing, plastic or sheet metal fabrication, or associated work on plant facilities using hand and power tools. May be required to troubleshoot equipment or facilities problems and reports them to supervisor. May interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. May perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Assist janitorial service in the clean-up of the facility.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Maintenance 1-2 years

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time, 5/40-1st Shift

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
