Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Composites Prod Tool Worker for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires the layout, setup and construction of composite production tooling; under the control and direction of higher classified labor grades. This position is required to layout, fabricate and assemble all types of tools; tools with angles and mold line contours. Must be able to interpret tool designs, sketches and engineering drawings and have a working knowledge of simple shop math.
Must be able to relay and receive information. Able to collaborate in a team environment. The ability to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints on complex issues. The ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma / GED and 1 year relevant work experience.
Basic working knowledge of composite/ fiberglass tooling.
Basic working knowledge of blueprints, tool designs and engineering drawings.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Good math skills.
Able to wear respirator of other safety gear.

EDUCATION:
High School diploma / GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek; 2nd shift.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
