Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer RF/Optical Design for an opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA.

The Ground Systems Development Department in Manhattan Beach, CA is seeking a talented electrical engineer to develop and integrate complex electronic Test Sets and hardware units. The hardware development responsibilities include architecture design, detailed design, test, integration, customer briefings, and post-delivery support of satellite system Test Sets and ground units. The candidate will work closely with other engineering functions, including Flight Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Production, and Procurement to meet schedule and design requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or another STEM degree from an accredited institution plus 9 years of experience in an Engineering Environment; OR, a minimum of 7 years of experience with a Master's Degree in STEM.
Design and test experience in high frequency (RF/Optical) technology.
The ideal candidate has a broad range of experience with design and integration of test systems and has familiarity with analog, digital, RF/optical technologies.
This individual must be comfortable leading a small team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or another STEM degree from an accredited institution, OR Master's Degree in STEM from an accredited institution is required.

9/80 workweek.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
