Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Aide for an opening in Orlando, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. This position is customer focused, highly visible, and will be essential in developing, growing and modernizing lab and production operations.Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided. Performs tasks requiring extensive knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general aspects and technical phases of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Is able to perform troubleshooting and repair of established and in-work designs. Minimal supervision. No instructions are needed on routine work, and only general instructions are given on new lines of work or special assignments.

Usually works without established procedures, performing a wide variety of nonstandard complex tasks using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of discipline. Analyzes requirements for special projects and recommends methods and processes to accomplish. Conducts research and assists in investigational studies. Supports the design/development of new or modified equipment (ATE) or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out (ATP). Evaluates and resolves calibrating and troubleshooting problems. Leads and mentors others and lower level employees, may assign work and schedule work flow.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma, and equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/ para-engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience in LabVIEW and TestStand.
Trouble shooting production test equipment

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
4/10, 1st Shift
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
