- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opening in Orlando, FL.
Software Engineers with experience in configuring and integrating Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines. Top candidates will be well-versed in DevOps concepts and implementation, particularly for C++ development environments.
Candidate will be responsible for the modernization of the JASSM C++ development environment and build systems using Altassian toolsets, Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, and SonarCube. Candidate will participate in the design, implementation, integration and test of embedded software in the operational flight program. Tasks could include: reviewing software requirements, documenting software design, implementing code, performing unit tests and integration testing of software within the Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) and on the target hardware.
Must be familiar with build optimization and scripting, hardware integration and test, C++ and CMake. Must list clearance or citizenship on resume.
Ideal candidate will continually evaluate the program's automated build pipeline and test solutions, research, recommend, and specify future development system upgrades (hardware and software) to continually optimize the JASSM development efforts. They will be familiar with Nexus, VS Code, Clang, Google Test, Git/Gitlab and Linux.
Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
