- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Testing Operator for an opening in Millersburg, PA.
This position is responsible for testing products in a high-paced manufacturing environment. This will include sample preparation, testing, documentation and analysis of the samples. You will be responsible for providing direct support to all levels of the organization including Engineering and Operations teams.
Follow all safety and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements
Follow written protocols to complete testing including tensile testing, pressure testing and other techniques
Preparation of samples to be used for testing including serializing, categorizing and processing
Organizing testing and communicating results
Data entry of results stemming from tests performed
Providing clear and concise test results for others to review
Assistance in the verification/validation of tooling by performing testing
Work with cross-functional teams to collect required information on the manufacturing floor
Support execution of new equipment validation tests as needed
Ability to work in a high-paced manufacturing facility
High aptitude for mechanical property testing
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Programs
Ability to work 2nd shift and potential for overtime as needed
Team-player with excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work to deadlines, estimate work timing, and escalate issues as appropriate
Accredited High School Diploma/GED, Associates degree in Technical Field (preferred)
3rd Shift (Sun-Thurs 10:30pm-7:00am)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
