Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for an opening in Hillsboro, OR.
" Design and implement services, data handling, and UIs for data-rich applications in service-oriented architectures.
" Follow organizational practices and tools such as agile development, unit testing, source code and configuration management, code reviews, specifications, and documentation.
" Make practical design choices given limited requirements and defined delivery schedules.
" 5+ years of experience in implementing data-centric UI applications.
" 2+ years experience with micro-services architecture patterns and .NET Core development.
" Demonstrated expertise with C#, Angular, interacting with data layers and APIs, and related technologies (CSS, React, Signal-R, etc.). Working knowledge of using SQL and other data-access methods.
" Hands-on experience building and deploying containerized (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) solutions into on-prem and/or cloud-based infrastructures.
" Solid software-engineering practices such as requirements, Agile processes, unit-testing, etc.
" Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to network across functional groups.
" Eligible for passport and able to travel.
" Expertise in user experience (UX) design and implementations.
" Expertise in database design and programming, especially PostgreSQL.
" Expertise with near-real-time networking protocols (R-RPC) and service interactions.
" Hands-on experience with automated testing, including UI testing.
" Knowledge of capital equipment manufacturing, large and near-real-time data analysis, electron microscopy, semiconductor, or life-science industries a plus.
Accredited University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
M-F 8-5 (flexible start time +/- 1 hr)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
