- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 1 for an opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under close supervision.Position is part of the Flight Simulation Labs Operations team. The applicant will be working in a fast pace environment supporting Flight Simulation hardware requiring technical skills in both electronic hardware development and trouble shooting. Install and maintain Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations and rack equipment. Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under close supervision.
Experience fabricating electrical assemblies, such as lab or special test equipment, is a plus. J-STD-001 solder certification and working in ESD/FOD aware areas are also desired but not required.
Accredited AA degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED required.
WORK HOURS: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
