Chipton-Ross is seeking a Training Developer for an opening in Rancho Bernardo, CA.

Develops training/course content and coordinates the development of training aids; in coordination with internal customers, contractors, or vendors, develops in-house programs, learning aids, and activities to address developmental needs.
Designs training programs using instructional design principles and best practices
Create SCORM online content including advanced interactions and voice-over recording where applicable.
Gather, coordinate, track, and report metrics on the progress of development assignments and/or projects.
Receive/field requests from a shared mailbox and manage incoming training request forms and create approval workflow
Conducts training sessions and evaluates effectiveness of training activities.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Performs other duties as assigned or as required.

-Experience with training development tools to create SCORM content. Articulate and Camtasia highly preferred.
-Proficiency in the use of business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Abode Acrobat Professional is required;
-Knowledge of online learning and web/cloud-based applications.
-Knowledge of principles and practices of training preferred.
-Strong organization skills, attention to detail and data accuracy required.
-Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to identify issues, evaluate problems, policies, procedures and formulate an effective course of action.
-Ability to interact effectively with various levels internal and external to the organization.
-Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.

Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and six or more years’ experience designing, developing and administering training programs.


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
