Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Packer for an opening in Bridgewater, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs weighing, filling, labeling, sealing and other packaging operations as well as general warehouse duties relating to packaging materials such as unloading bottle trucks and keeping packaging materials in order. Completes necessary information for recordkeeping. Transports bulk material, bottles, caps and supplies to filling location. Transports packaging goods to warehouse. Sets up scale, checks bottle size, sets up containers to be filled. Sees that all specifications and special instructions are followed on the job card or instruction cards. Performs necessary quality checks. Checks materials to see that they are correct. Responsible for working safely and for producing quality products. Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment clean and in good condition. Perform all other duties as assigned or required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Required to remove caps from bottles, pails, and drums
Required to torque caps on bottles, pails, and drums with a torque wrench
Required to place labeling on bottles, pails, and drums.
Required to place empty steel/polypropylene/glass 4L bottles, 20L pails, and 200L drums on tables and conveyor systems.
Required to place full 4L bottles into boxes and place full boxes and 20L pails on pallets.
Handles hazardous waste as generated by operations

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
1st Shift, 7am-3:30pm
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
