Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Depot Service Technician for an opening in Newington, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brazing and soldering of copper pipe skill, using silver solder, phoson rod and soft solder. Provide product evaluation and bench repair service to customer / stock units, at the service center. Provide product evaluation and repair at a customer’s site. (if necessary when trained) Troubleshoot with customers on the phone if (necessary). To repair chiller and freezer equipment, either at the repair center or in the field.

REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Electrical knowledge – reading a schematic and how electricity works in relationship to switches, transformers and various electronic components. Refrigeration knowledge, evaluate, recover, repair, recharge and test. Plumbing and pump skills a plus, (understanding pump curves and systems) Troubleshooting abilities, (refrigeration, plumbing and electrical) Basic computer skills – Word-Excel and email proficient. Must be able to travel if necessary, but mostly a depot job. Highly motivated and a self-starter. Knowledge of recirculating chiller or freezer equipment is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Has a valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
