- Chipton Ross is seeking a Production Operator in Wauwatosa, WI.
o Produce, inspect, and package products per batch formulations utilizing various mixing, blending, and packaging equipment.
o Follow all EHS and Quality procedures to safely produce quality product.
o Record manually and via computer, all material usage, accurately fill out process batch sheets.
o Follow process batch sheets to produce quality products per prescribed standards.
o Adheres to all plant policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.
o Practice continuous quality improvement in all processes.
o Participates in Bostik's Safety programs to achieve objective of safe behavior and goal of Zero Incidents.
o Work cooperatively with all employees and leadership to meet plant/shift objectives
o Maintain and improve level of housekeeping in work area and facility.
o Completes all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
o Use computer controls to operate equipment.
o Rotates to other work functions as required by process flow.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
o Work in a fast paced production environment where safety, accuracy and speed are essential. Simultaneous competing priorities require effective and efficient multi-tasking to succeed.
o Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk throughout work day.
o Ability to work in non climate controlled environment.
o Work with minimal supervision.
o Use of production equipment, material handling equipment, and hand tools.
o Use of computer for data management and training.
o Operate equipment and report issues to leadership as needed.
o Completion of daily goals.
o Use problem solving techniques to eliminate waste and errors and drive overall improvement in daily objectives.
o Understanding of production and process equipment.
o Adherence to Bostik, OSHA, and local regulations / policies.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
o Required Skills/Experience:
o High school diploma or GED,
o Ability to read English and perform basic math skills.
o 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
o Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Applications, Lotus Notes).
o Forklift experience.
o Ability to operate automated and semi-automated equipment.
o Willing to work an off shift and overtime as necessary.
o High school diploma or GED,
2nd shift (1:00pm – 9:00pm) , or 3rd shift (9:00pm – 5:00am)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
