Description



Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Assembler for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all aspects of flight and test hardware builds. Performs PCBA solder reworks, full PCBA builds and cable assy builds.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Completed 4 year vocational trade school, 4 year Apprenticeship program, or equivalent industry experience.

1) Expert soldering technician.
2) Proficiency forming surface mount component leads with pneumatic forming equipment.
3) Knowledge of wide variety of connector types and assembly techniques (circular connectors, coaxial connectors) and shielding methodologies.
4) Perform self-checks of quality.
5) Use torque tool and mechanical assembly instructions to assembly mechanical systems.
6) Proficient in transformer build/install.
EXPERIENCE/EDU: NASA or J-STD certification 5 - 7 years

EDUCATION:
Completed 4 year vocational trade school, 4 year Apprenticeship program, or equivalent industry experience.
High School degree and school must be accredited.


HOURS:
5/40 work week.
7:30 AM to 4PM


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
