Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Operations Associate for an opening in Alachua, FL.

SUMMARY:
At Viral Vector Services (VVS) a division of our client we deliver, from process development through commercial supply, we offer the expertise and resources necessary to help clients deliver innovative gene therapies. Placed in the forefront of our leading and cutting edge Cell and Gene Therapy business enabling clients to cure genetic, rare, and otherwise untreatable diseases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will provide clerical support to help maintain cGMP compliance in all operating units with a focus on document management (scanning, filing, archival, tracking, and reconciliation) and assisting QA Auditors. 80% May be required to maintain and generate reports from tracking databases under the control of the Document Control Department. 10% May be required to support audits by locating appropriate documentation and personnel needed to support the audit. 5% Other duties as assigned by the Quality Systems and Document Control Supervisor 5%. 100% Office Environment. Mandatory overtime in evening and on weekends and holidays, when needed to meet project timelines. Must be flexible in regard to work schedule. Looking for the right person to transition to a permanent position. Department is a combination of Quality Systems and Document Control which is currently rebuilding – goal is to employ reliable, self-motivated individuals who possess necessary teamwork skills to accomplish departmental goals.

REQUIREMENTS:
One year of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience or exempt by manager approval.

High level competency in the following skills: Attention to detail/accuracy. Communication/customer service skills. Ability to prioritize with flexibility as changes arise
Independent worker with minimal assistance.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to communicate in a dynamic environment.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
