Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Real-time embedded software engineers are needed to develop new code in C++ and modify code in Ada utilizing a cross compiler for Ada to C++. The candidate must have experience in C++, Ada, cross compiler usage, as well as experience developing for both Linux and Windows. Experience with full life-cycle development is required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Real-time embedded software development.
Algorithm translation to embedded real-time code.
Language – Ada.
Operating System (OS) - Linux Operating System (OS).
Windows Language – C++.
Full lifecycle development.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Ada/C++ binding/wrapping Agile techniques Code and Document peer review - Code Collaborator Data Distribution Services (DDS) by RTI Documentation - technical design Documentation - test procedures Issue/Change tracking - Jira Language - Fortran 95 Operating System (OS) - Linux: CentOS Operating System (OS) - Linux: CentOS, Redhat Publish / Subscribe communication protocol Source code configuration management - Git Test software development Testing based on performance requirements VxWorks
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

4/10, 1st Shift
