Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Document Control Analyst for an opening in Tewksbury, MA.

SUMMARY:
the Document Control Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and distributing all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to customer requirements and regulations (document control). This position will develop, implement, and maintain the process for records management, document control, and change control through a comprehensive electronic filing system, in compliance to ISO and regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a document control process and the document control electronic database. Maintain the change control process. Work with cross-functional team members in supporting document control for initial released drawings and any Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) Ensure that controlled copies of latest submitted and approved documents/drawings are given to the appropriate functions, subcontractors and suppliers, in accordance with established priorities and applicable effective dates and times. Drive timely configuration structures for New Product Introductions and sustaining business: part and tooling set-up, BOM releases, and BOM changes. Perform ongoing continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data. Acquire knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures related to the document management field. Provide notification to potentially impacted organizations when specific documents are updated or when required document reviews are due. Receives, supports, and responds to information requests from internal and external sources. Receive and review information/updates associated with existing documents and takes appropriate actions to update associated data attributes within the document repository. Conduct and maintain internal audits as needed. Send and maintain supplier evaluation records and documentation. Generate standard reports and critical metrics for internal and external use. Provide input to ensure internal procedures and guidelines are maintained. Ensure that all documents are aligned to the approved file formats. Understands and follows regulatory requirements associated with protection of proprietary document types. Maintains a training program for document and change control. Drive cultural standards of Quality, Service,. Documentation and Teamwork. Must be able to interact and build relationships with various departments. Perform other duties commensurate with functional level and responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Previous experience in Agile is critical, and Mastercontrol is preferred. 2+ years of experience in a role requiring strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in an administrative capacity is a strong plus. Strong understand of electronic documentation systems.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED is required. Associates degree or higher is preferred.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
