Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineering Intern for an opening in Grand Island, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the coordination of internal and external business partners in project execution.
Performs analysis and converts data to information that enables decision making.
Assists in creating presentation content for senior leadership review.
Ensures detailed actions of project schedule are on track and escalates risks/failures.
Supports the development and execution of protocols.
Participates in site acceptance testing, factory acceptance testing, equipment delivery, validation and install.
Aids in financial transactions, tracking, reporting against budget and escalates variances.

REQUIREMENTS:
Active student with a minimum of 2 years of education in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Co-op experience with equipment design, installation, validation/performance qualification (preferred)
Must be able to work independently and have ability to collaborate across a wide range of business partners.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, engineering design and start-up fundamentals and industry trends.
Requires strong technical writing, mechanical aptitude, verbal communication, and interpersonal and problem solving skills.

SHIFT:
Full-Time
1st shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
