Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for an opening in Carlsbad, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out Standard Operating Procedures involved in high throughput manufacturing, visual inspection, material handling and inventory control.
Operate automated equipment in the production of plastic cassette for further manufacturing
Complete all batch records and manufacturing documents according to quality systems standards as required

Maintain accurate inventory of products and inventory records using an online material resource planning tool
Maintain cleanliness of the Plastics manufacturing area within the Gels Department

Proactively addresses ergonomic concerns in work area

Leads safety topics during tier meetings and overall, actively participates in daily tier meetings
Proactively reaches out to support groups for assistance on production issues

Capable of performing basic troubleshooting methods for common failure modes

Participate in proactive safety activities and utilize SHED reporting

Follows all WINs/SOPs, site policies and procedure
Completes in process testing and sampling to meet Quality Control requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
Basic mathematical skills to perform required calculations

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well organized, detail oriented and proficient at multi-tasking

Some experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in an automated environment with high throughput (preferred)

Proactive problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (preferred)
Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and/or GMP manufacturing environment (preferred)
Experience with Good Documentation Practices

: Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
