Chipton-Ross is seeking 16 Worker's Compensation Representatives for an opportunity in Newport News, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investigates and reviews employee workers compensation claims reports to determine liability. Investigates accident and/or safety occurrences. Reviews safety reports and statistics. Negotiates, prepares, evaluates, and settles cases with employee/claimant, attorney, insurance carriers, and providers to minimize claims settlements. May settle claims.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors in related field and 3 years of relevant professional experience. 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
o Understanding of employee benefits/paid leave programs
o Government audit/documentation requirements
o Familiarity with MS Office and SharePoint
This position will support CLIENT's efforts to qualify paid leave hours for CLIENT employees. Experience with Section 3610 of the CARES Act is highly desired.
This position will involve Records Management:
o Documentation will be stored in a manner and location consistent with company requirements.
o Methodology to be specified by CLIENT, to ensure ease of identification and retrieval to support audit purposes.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree and school must be accredited.

HOURS:
5/40 work week.
7:30 AM to 4PM

Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgement or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.

Liaison
Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
