Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Associate Scientist II- R&D for an opening in Santa Clara, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and conduct laboratory experiments for developing new molecular genetics/genomics products. Work within cross-functional new-product introduction teams to execute feasibility, development, and verification and validation of complex genomic technologies. Development and transfer sustainable and scalable manufacturing and quality control processes to a production environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3 years post-baccalaureate research experience required. Experience in laboratory molecular biology, genomics, biochemistry, or similar field. Experience in microarrays, qPCR, and/or next generation sequencing preferred.

EDUCATION:
Accredited B.S. in Biological or Chemical sciences required. M.S. preferred.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Shift: M-F, 8-5

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
