- Chipton-Ross is seeking aTraining Device Technician 1 for an opportunity in Hazelwood, MO.
Gathers information to support the repair and test and assists with installation, configuration, upgrade and modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software, specifically in the area of out the window visual systems. Assists with general pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices. Receives and performs acceptance testing of parts and components. Gathers information to support troubleshooting of mechanical or electrical faults. Works under close supervision.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Maintain Visual Systems capital assets
Display system calibration and alignment during customer site installations
Display system calibration and alignment during installations in St. Louis
Helmet mounted display calibration and test
Production projector calibration and test
A degree is not required for this position.
Experience in troubleshooting complex electrical systems
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
Accredited High School Diploma/GED required.
WORK HOURS: 7:00AM-3:30PM
