Chipton-Ross is seeking two Manufacturing Technician 2's for an opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.

Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

In this role the selected candidate will:
Develop skills in assembling small components under a microscope.
Learn, develop, and adhere to strict processing requirements for glass to metal sealing, eutectic soldering, and helium leak detection.
Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings for requirements and be capable of using microscope and tweezers for assembly as well as using all manual support equipment and inspection tools to assemble hardware under direct supervision.

High School Diploma/ Equivalent
Candidate should exhibit a willingness to work overtime when needed.
Experience in miniature assembly in a clean production or laboratory environment a plus.
This individual will become familiar with military standards as well as industry process specifications.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, reliable, industrious, and able to work independently. A willingness to follow in-house processes without regard for past experience is required for the candidate to be successful.

High School Diploma or equivalent
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
