- Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Numerical Control Programmer 4's for an opening in Huntington Beach, CA.
Provides expertise in numerical control, machining, programming and Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) in support of new and ongoing projects. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans and guides the development and integration of machining techniques, manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment to support the design, manufacture and inspection of parts and assemblies. Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others. Works under minimal direction.
SPECIFIC SYSTEMS, PROGRAMS, SKILLS REQUIRED:
o Top 3-5 Skills needed to perform this role/job?:
Significant NC programming experience for 5-axis machining (non-metallic thermal protection tiles)
Significant NC programming experience utilizing NX
Significant NC programming experience utilizing NX on DMS and Thermwood equipment
o Top 3-5 Soft Skills for culture fit:
Time/Stress Mgmt - Ability to work under pressure
o Type of background (education, # yrs experience, etc.): Bachelor’s Degree, minimum 10 years’ experience
o Software skills required: NX
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
