Chipton Ross is seeking a Mechanical/Medical Device Engineer in Irvine, CA.

Not remote: will need to be local
Possible immediate full time hire for right candidate
Looking for Medical Device experience.

Job Summary:
This position requires a versatile engineer with medical device and/or disposables experience. The position involves challenging new product development assignments in a fast paced, small team environment. This position requires a hands on person who applies first principles and a pragmatic approach to deliver on-time results. The position requires a high level of rigor and attention to detail.

o 5+ yrs Med Device Experience
o At least 1 project complete concept to production
o Collaborative & Cooperative team player
o Results orientation, creative problem solver
o Excellent learning agility
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Expert knowledge and practical experience: FDA compliant design verification methodology and testing
o Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality results and deliverables.
o Demonstrated ability to complete assignments in a timely manner despite setbacks and obstacles
o Experience and ability to plan, conduct and closeout design reviews
o Expert knowledge and practical experience: mCAD assembly, part, drawing creation
o Expert knowledge and practical experience: Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics
o Pneumatics Experience
o Ventilator or Respiratory product experience
o Expert knowledge and practical experience with analytical tools, e.g. DFSS, statistics
o Expert knowledge of statistics
o Demonstrated expertise with System Design, Risk Analysis, Traceability for embedded control devices

BSME or equivalent

First shift, full time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
