Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Systems Engineer 3's for an opening in Oklahoma City, OK.

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

o Interacting with customers to formulate their needs into specific requirements and deliverables will be a key part of the job.
o Working with software engineering and data scientists to make those visions a reality will be another key aspect of this position.
o Together with our larger team, you will work with cutting edge analytics tools to create solutions that help manage the health and operations of aircraft for users across the world.
o The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background and history of working with military aircraft, including familiarity with maintenance, logistics, and support operations.
o Prior development experience in a software engineering setting, and knowledge of analytics or condition-based maintenance would be preferred.
o Experience in program management is desired.
o Excellent communication and teamwork ability are critical.

o Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, or foreign equivalent
o 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment

o Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
o 5+ years of in system engineering (e.g. Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements or Test)
o 5+years of experience with military aircraft systems
o 5+ years of experience applying systems engineering principles during the development of complex hardware/software solutions on an aerospace platform
o 5+ years of experience working with Asset reliability and condition based maintenance theory and practical applications.
o Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies

Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

The manager would prefer that the candidate is in one of the following areas: OKC, Colorado Springs or Ft. Walton Beach. These are the locations of the current team members and the manager would like this candidate to be able to go into the office as needed.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
