Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 for an opening in Berkeley, MO.

Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

A successful candidate will be an engineer with knowledge of Systems Engineering processes, including requirements development & verification, integration, and configuration management. The successful candidate will have the following experiences and characteristics:
•Experience in Training Systems or other software-centric systems
•Enjoy being hands-on in a development lab environment
•Interested in learning about networked systems and/or simulating aircraft performance
•Possess strong interpersonal skills to work with subject matter experts as well as peers on the team to create quality, compliant products that meet the needs of all stakeholders.
•Collaborating within a cross-functional team to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams
•Writing performance, specification, and compliance requirements
•System cold starts in the lab and at customer locations
•Hardware-Software Integration (HSI) tasks
•Troubleshooting system level issues
•Ensuring compliance of system design to security requirements and configuration-control processes

•Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
•Experience with requirement management tools
•Experience with configuration management tools
•7+ years’ experience in system Integration

•Basic knowledge of training systems architecture using COTS PCs running Windows and Linux
•Ability to troubleshoot network and hardware issues
•Experience with software development of models and simulations in a development and/or production environment
•Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering

Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

Potential travel to UK, up to 25%

WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
