- Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Production/Inventory Coordinator C's located in Kennedy Space Center, FL.
Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under limited supervision
Experience working in a warehouse environment stocking inventory.
Project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Moving of a flight warehouse to a new location and updating inventory using MRP - COMPASS Contract.
Top 3-5 technical/software skills needed to perform this role/job: Computer skills, knowledge of COMPASS Contract helpful but not required. Able to use a fork lift, pallet jack, working around space flight hardware. Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
