Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Systems Engineer 3's for an opening in Hazelwood, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Global Training Systems and Services (GTS&S) is responsible for designing, developing, building and delivering flight and maintenance training solutions to the warfighter. The flight simulators developed are not off the shelf video games but are high fidelity, tech heavy, fully immersive training machines that allow the warfighter to maintain their mission readiness in their pursuit to defend freedom around the world. GTS&S supports multiple aircraft and rotor-craft platforms, including the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, the P-8 Poseidon anti-surface/submarine warfare aircraft, the F-15, F-18, and F-22 tactical aircraft, the MQ-25 Stingray aerial refueling drone, the T-7 jet trainer, and the C-17 Globemaster responsible for decades of military and humanitarian efforts.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Development of systems design and interfaces, requirements analysis and definition, systems integration, end user interaction, unit testing, and
•Generate system requirements and performance specifications
•Identify and track risks to technical execution
•Conduct System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR)
•Responsible for ensuring the success of critical technical milestones including Shop Turnover, Hardware Checkout, Hardware/Software Loading, Troubleshooting, Testing, and Fielding.
•Responsible for coordinating engineering activities such as software loading, and defect management during system integration and test phases.
•Work closely with cross functional teams in an integrated team environment.
•Conduct analysis, perform trade studies, and develop technical recommendations.
•Problem solving and supporting other engineers in a team environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience multi-tasking and working in a team environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work collaboratively to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience in the Aerospace Industry is a plus
•Experience with Engineering Best Practices (EBP)
•Experience in requirements elicitation, systems integration, or system test
•Experience with supporting a product through an entire development lifecycle
•Experience with systems engineering tools such as IBM Rationale DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System)
•Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile development experience
•Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

TRAVEL :YES
Possibility for occasional travel if the contractor is able and willing.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
