Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Systems Engineer 2's for an opening in Hazelwood, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Responsibilities include requirements definition, system architecture development, model based systems engineering (MBSE), systems integration, and systems test.

The selected applicant will be a member of a high performing, collaborative team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management, and interpersonal skills. These teams use Agile methodologies to support all aspects of product development, including project management. The applicant will be encouraged to actively help the team to continuously improve and develop innovative and creative solutions to products and processes. design, end user interaction, coding, unit testing, integration, validation, documentation, analysis of software problem reports, and assistance of software requirements. This unique role requires an understanding of engineering processes and the ability to communicate those processes into contractually binding documents. Must be able to work closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment. Experience working with cross functional teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires two or more years of experience in an Engineering classified position.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Doors, Agile Scrum, and Cameo.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
