Chipton-Ross is seeking a Structural Engineer for an opening in Fort Worth, TX.
Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field of strength of metallic and composite structures and finite element analysis. Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.
Required experience with airframe and systems stress analysis. Familiarity and experience with other FEA tools such as NASTRAN, other pre/post processor software, as well as knowledge of MIL-HDBK-5 is also required. Candidate must have working knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool CATIA V5 (preferred) . Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.
Must have CATIA V4 or V5 experience
Must have MRB experience
Systems Stress experience is required
