Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Financial Analyst for an opening in Herndon, VA.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Excel experience includes pivot tables, importing/exporting between software applications, embedding Excel files with PowerPoint presentations, charting/graphing.
Demonstrated analytical ability and problem solving capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in use of Deltek CostPoint and Microsoft Office Suite with strong emphasis on Excel including ability to draft and complete detailed work instructions.
Experience as Financial Analyst in defense contracting environment.
•Experience using Deltek CostPoint
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office Suite with strong emphasis on Excel including ability to draft and complete detailed work instructions.
•Experience as a Financial Analyst in defense contracting environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Masters in Finance/Contracts
•Preferred experience in performance Measurement systems EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems) using ANSI/EIA-748-full EVMS reporting, MPM or Cobra Experience
•Masters in Finance/Contracts
•Certified Professional contract Manager (CPCM) is highly desired.

EDUCATION:
•Bachelor Degree Accounting or Finance


SHIFT: 9/80- Full Time.
