- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Information Technology Software Application Developer-Product 3 for an opening in Everett, WA.
Performs architectural trade studies and contributes to the development of documentation and maintenance of software architectures. Participates in internal and external architecture reviews. Provides data, recommendations, and estimates for software component level project planning including corrective action plans. Coordinates and participates in project management reviews and compliance audits. Develops Computer Software Units (CSUs) software requirements and algorithms. Defines internal interfaces. Performs requirements allocation between hardware, software, and operators. Participates in requirement team and peer reviews as a presenter and evaluator. Performs requirements change assessment and provides a technical interface to requirement change-assessment meetings. Develops supplier/subcontract performance assessment including appropriate metrics. Makes recommendations of adequacy of subcontractor/supplier technical approach to project lead. Helps resolve programmatic and technical problems that would impact cost, schedule and/or performance. Develops, maintains, and unit tests code. Develops/decomposes, documents, and maintains designs for software. Participates in internal design reviews and builds large scale software systems. Participates in software integration efforts. Troubleshoots and investigates problems across software components. Develops, selects, tailors, and deploys processes and tools. Establishes metrics. Participates in process reviews. Provide expertise on software methodologies and processes to internal/external customers. Supports operational and integration issue resolution.
Provides assistance to design, program and execute web and database development activities. Implements, documents and maintains routine computing applications and software. Constructs code, manages database and schemas, and builds API calls based on documented design. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Documents, validates and researches reported problems and assists in developing user testing and training. Requires experience with the product lifecycle management of development, testing and production.
The Client is currently seeking a highly motivated contractor as a junior web application developer to join the Advanced Photographic Engineering Experience (APEX) Interactive Imaging team. The APEX team provides comprehensive interactive imaging solutions backed by data visualization to rapidly access and connect dense critical data. Job requires candidate to have experience in a variety of programming languages and frameworks. Candidate must be an adaptive and quick learner, often finding solutions for working with legacy technology.
Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written to interact with peers and stakeholders. Job requires the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members across multiple sites as well as work independently. Other qualities for this candidate are a positive attitude, self-motivated, the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
o Excellent communication skills to work with team of distributed locations
o Advance knowledge of JSON utilization and implementation
o Ability to adhere to predefined coding styles
o Experience with SCRUM and Agile methodologies
o Computer Science fundamentals
o Ability to work in the Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 environments
o Code snippet(s) and a portfolio will be required for interview
Accredited Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Position is remote.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
