Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Systems Engineer 3's for an opening in Berkeley, MO.
As a Systems Engineer on one of these emerging programs, you will evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces for aircraft and weapons platforms. Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering will be a key focus in these activities. The ability to work in a collaborative team environment across sites and engineering disciplines to support and execute challenging tasks in a MBSE environment will be imperative to this on-site role. The selected individual will work in a fast paced, innovative environment where excellent technical, organizational, leadership, written and verbal communications skills are essential.
Apply interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, coordinate, design, develop and verify complex systems solutions
Engage with leads and teammates across engineering disciplines
Use Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to develop systems engineering products such as requirements decomposition, system architecture; specifications, systems engineering and program plans, interfaces, risk assessment and mitigation, validation and verification planning, overall integration, etc.
Support the development of a Digital Engineering Ecosystem and establish digital models as an integral part of the technical baseline including modeling and simulation and open systems architectures.
Integrate authoritative technical data, analytical models and analysis, and digital artifacts that define the Authoritative Source of Truth (AST) to be utilized throughout the system’s life cycle
Assist with definition and coordination of system performance requirements and technical parameters.
Establish, maintain, and demonstrate traceability between the requirements, analysis, and design being developed in the Digital Systems Models within the DE Ecosystem, to be presented as part of model based major milestone reviews.
Operate independently with general direction and in a team environment.
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
3+ years of systems engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, and verification.
2+ years’ experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, such as CAMEO, CORE/GENESYS, or similar Systems Modeling Language (SysML)-compatible tool for systems architecture and model development.
Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills working across multi-disciplinary teams
Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation, risk, issues and opportunities management and trade studies.
Experience in applying model based engineering processes and principles in the design of military aircraft, weapons, or missiles development
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
