- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for an opening in Pittsburgh, PA.
We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing and constructing web pages/sites, including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques, will assist in administering and managing the department’s Intranet sites, will assist with project outlines and specifications, will troubleshoot, debug, implement and document software code. The candidate will work independently or as a member of a team, handling the development and growth of internal applications.
Develop and maintain custom Web applications and interfaces using C# or VB.NET and ASP.NET to support the efforts of the Strategic Pricing Group. Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures associated with the UI programming stated above. Responsibilities include full software lifecycle activities, including project planning, requirements analysis, design, development, and documentation. Assist users in defining requirements for projects and respond in a timely manner to end user support request. Maintain and expand current applications and upgrades to the new version of software. Design, debug and support web applications. Performs other duties as assigned. Prepare documentations and specifications. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related work experience.
Able to work nights and/or weekends as required

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
