- Chipton-Ross is seekin a Mechanical Engineer for an opening in Carlsbad, CA.
Will be primary engineer to increase capacity on critical automated production line. Will work with and have support from internal engineering and project management teams to execute project. Will be required to analyze and identify improvements. Will be required to create and modify SolidWorks models Will work closely with external vendors/suppliers. Lead efforts to install upgrades to machines. Will participate in the validation efforts of created upgrades
Minimum of 5 years work experience. Previous experience with automate production equipment. Previous Bio tech industry experience. Strong experience with mechanical design of automated industrial automation. Hands on experience with pneumatics, actuators, Servos, PLC’s, safety, electrical controls and sensors. Ability to communicate effectively across technical disciplines. Ability to achieve technical design solutions with minimal oversight. Must be able to effectively manage time given multiple high-priority projects. Good troubleshooting skills. Proficient with SolidWorks. Strong general computer literacy.
Accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
