Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Procurement Agent 3's for an opening in Mesa, AZ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

Develop source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies that integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies
Assess suppliers’ company health, performance and capability to deliver products and services
Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
Evaluate supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality and risk
Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management
Analyze external market and internal demand
Monitor and manage supplier performance by:
o Identifying root cause and recovery plans
o Managing supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
o Initiating supplier improvement activities and integrating results into contracting strategies
Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
Contribute to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree
3 or more years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or strategic sourcing practices and processes
3 or more years of experience managing the procurement process including coordinating with business partners and providing functional support
3 or more years of experience leading some negotiations with standard terms and conditions (including payment terms)
1 or more years of experience modifying contract terms with legal assistance
Experience managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships and supplier performance
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business or other related studies
Communication skills (written and verbal) with customer focus
Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements
Ability to identify and integrate opportunities to leverage/improve in contracting strategies
Ability to be self-directed in work and/or prior experience in a self-directed role
Strong business acumen and adept problem solving ability
Strong leadership skills and ability to build positive working relationships
Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations with people at all levels

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelors degree is required.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
