Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer III for an opening in Milwaukee, WI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, enhances, maintains, and debugs software used in medical products.
- Reads and implements the design specifications.
- Conducts investigations to determine root cause for customer escalations.
- Works with cross functional team of HW/SW engineers, program manager, system engineer, design assurance and software test team members.
– Reviews, creates and updates documents required per Hillrom quality management process.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have prior experience developing commercial software applications in C++ and C# languages and .Net framework.
- At least 3 years of software development experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience developing applications with database, UI, Client/Server architecture is a must.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English language.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with medical device software development, HL7, DICOM, Installers, Postgres DB, MSSQL Server DB is a plus.
- Works independently, is self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
