- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Programmer for an opening in Torrance, CA
Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs.Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes. Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language. Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems. Use web-based tools to create advanced SaaS when applicable. Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary. Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient. Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support. Responsible for developing models and reporting structures that identify production rates. Responsible for developing standardized and custom reports. Perform plant production analysis. Develop tools aimed at improving production efficiencies. Collect, compile, and present manufacturing progress and status report on weekly basis, or as requested. Serve as the primary contact and interface for operations support. Responsible for maintaining a SharePoint site, Oracle Database, and MS Office Excel or PowerPoint reports and documents. Must be able to simultaneously handle multiple assignments as well as work with others to achieve the desired outcome within the stipulated timeframe.
B.S. and a minimum of 4 years experience
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
