- Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Project Management Specialist 2's for an opening in Oklahoma City, OK.
The candidate will work with an experienced project management lead to assist in providing support across the organization.
Coordinates project review activity and status reporting for recurring project process and progress documentation utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)
Performs certain elementary level project tasks and records progress in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards )
Develops and applies basic negotiating skills in support of various project tasks
Assists in gathering project-related information to support the creation and production of various reports
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.Refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance
Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals
Interacts primarily with internal personnel and external customers
Represents the organization on specific projects
Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision
Knowledgeable of how the business and organization operates; knowledgeable of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; understands the competition and the marketplace

This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate
Works under general supervision
Bachelor’s degree in an accredited course of study required
3 or more years' work experience in Program/Project Management required
Must have experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry
Previous experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
Must possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
Must have demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments
Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events
Highly motivated and must work well in a team environment
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Candidate will need to be local to OKC or willing to relocate as this will be a hybrid schedule.
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
